  9.    And they walked in the midst of the fire, praising God, and
  10.    blessing the Lord.

  13.    Then Azarias stood up, and prayed on this manner; and opening
  14.    his mouth in the midst of the fire said,
  15.    
  16.    PrAzar 3
  17.    Blessed art thou, O Lord God of our fathers: thy name is
  18.    worthy to be praised and glorified for evermore:
  19.    
  20.    PrAzar 4
  21.    For thou art righteous in all the things that thou hast done
  22.    to us: yea, true are all thy works, thy ways are right, and all
  23.    thy judgments truth.
  24.    
  25.    PrAzar 5
  26.    In all the things that thou hast brought upon us, and upon
  27.    the holy city of our fathers, even Jerusalem, thou hast executed
  28.    true judgment: for according to truth and judgment didst thou
  29.    bring all these things upon us because of our sins.

  32.    For we have sinned and committed iniquity, departing from
  33.    thee.
  34.    
  35.    PrAzar 7
  36.    In all things have we trespassed, and not obeyed thy
  37.    commandments, nor kept them, neither done as thou hast commanded
  38.    us, that it might go well with us.
  39.    
  40.    PrAzar 8
  41.    Wherefore all that thou hast brought upon us, and every thing
  42.    that thou hast done to us, thou hast done in true judgment.

  44.    PrAzar 9
  45.    And thou didst deliver us into the hands of lawless enemies,
  46.    most hateful forsakers of God, and to an unjust king, and the
  47.    most wicked in all the world.

  49.    PrAzar 10
  50.    And now we cannot open our mouths, we are become a shame and
  51.    reproach to thy servants; and to them that worship thee.

  54.    Yet deliver us not up wholly, for thy name's sake, neither
  55.    disannul thou thy covenant:
  56.    
  57.    PrAzar 12
  58.    And cause not thy mercy to depart from us, for thy beloved
  59.    Abraham's sake, for thy servant Issac's sake, and for thy holy
  60.    Israel's sake;
  61.

  63.    To whom thou hast spoken and promised, that thou wouldest
  64.    multiply their seed as the stars of heaven, and as the sand that
  65.    lieth upon the seashore.
  66.

  68.    For we, O Lord, are become less than any nation, and be kept
  69.    under this day in all the world because of our sins.
  70.    
  71.    PrAzar 15
  72.    Neither is there at this time prince, or prophet, or leader,
  73.    or burnt offering, or sacrifice, or oblation, or incense, or
  74.    place to sacrifice before thee, and to find mercy.

  77.    Nevertheless in a contrite heart and an humble spirit let us
  78.    be accepted.
  79.

  81.    Like as in the burnt offerings of rams and bullocks, and like
  82.    as in ten thousands of fat lambs: so let our sacrifice be in thy
  83.    sight this day, and grant that we may wholly go after thee: for
  84.    they shall not be confounded that put their trust in thee.

  87.    And now we follow thee with all our heart, we fear thee, and
  88.    seek thy face.

  91.    Put us not to shame: but deal with us after thy
  92.    lovingkindness, and according to the multitude of thy mercies.

  95.    Deliver us also according to thy marvellous works, and give
  96.    glory to thy name, O Lord: and let all them that do thy servants
  97.    hurt be ashamed;

  100.    And let them be confounded in all their power and might, and
  101.    let their strength be broken;

  104.    And let them know that thou art God, the only God, and
  105.    glorious over the whole world.

  108.    And the king's servants, that put them in, ceased not to make
  109.    the oven hot with rosin, pitch, tow, and small wood;

  112.    So that the flame streamed forth above the furnace forty and
  113.    nine cubits.

  116.    And it passed through, and burned those Chaldeans it found
  117.    about the furnace.

  120.    But the angel of the Lord came down into the oven together
  121.    with Azarias and his fellows, and smote the flame of the fire

  125.    And made the midst of the furnace as it had been a moist
  126.    whistling wind, so that the fire touched them not at all,
  127.    neither hurt nor troubled them.

  130.    Then the three, as out of one mouth, praised, glorified, and
  131.    blessed, God in the furnace, saying,

  134.    Blessed art thou, O Lord God of our fathers: and to be

  284.    hell, and saved us from the hand of death, and delivered us out
  285.    of the midst of the furnace and burning flame: even out of the
  286.    midst of the fire hath he delivered us.
